The above podcast was generated using Google’s new NotebookLM, and inspired by my feeding the LM the original “Beetlejuice” script, obtained via Moviepedia. Saved with Google Docs, the pdf source material came to 50 pages. From that, a ten-minute podcast came to life! The two professional-sounding hosts speaking in natural language are entirely synthetic 😮.
Another of my attempts at podcast generation utilized just two pages of material – in this case about a company my friend works for – and turned out a four-minute podcast. (How brief is too brief to be considered a “podcast” is a good question.)
