Netflix Preferences and Politics: A Snapshot

More accurately, a screenshot.

So is there a link between Netflix viewing preferences and political orientation? Very likely, but the below “study” won’t confirm it. It’s more like a rudimentary sketch of an outline of an idea, at best. In lieu of a more comprehensive and methodical analysis, here are five Netflix preferences/suggestions/recently watched gathered from Facebook friends with an accompanying self-described political stance. Well, self-described among the options I provided: Conservative, Liberal, Libertarian, Progressive.

  1. Send this message to the people!

I, E. Harding, liberator of the nations, author of the Against Jebel al-Lawz and Marginal Counterrevolution WordPress blogs, friend to all the virtuous and enemy of all the wicked, implore you -the SlateStarCodex commentariat -to seek the restoration of my commenting privileges and quickly initiate the blocking of Jill and TheWorst, who have polluted these comment threads with intolerance for far too long! And vote Trump to Make America Great Again!

You can always contact me by Twitter or WordPress comment. I hope Scott still showcases my predictions at the end of the year or thereabouts!
